>>  South African head coach suspended: The South African Football Association (SAFA) has suspended Shakes Mashaba for disciplinary reasons. As a result of this development, assistant head coach Owen da Gama will take charge of the team against Mozambique in Maputo on Tuesday. Dennis Mumble, the SAFA CEO said Mashaba had to be disciplined after 'unpleasant events'after Saturdays game with Senegal. He refused to divulge further details. Mashaba has been placed on suspension with immediate effect pending a full disciplinary hearing. Coach Mashaba has since sent his sincerest apologies and asked for forgiveness for his indiscretion.
