>> Juventus look to wrap up Bentancur deal: Juventus have their eyes set on the highly rated 19 year old Boca Juniors Midfielder. The Bianconeri's want to exercise an option in the deal which took Carlos Tevez from Juventus to Boca Juniors. Juventus plan to exercise the clause to sign him for 9.4 million Euros in January and loan him back to Boca Juniors for the rest of the season.
>> Lionel Messi refuses Barcelona new deal? Earlier in the day, Marca (Madrid based newspaper) reported that Messi had chosen not to renew Barcelona contract and would decide his future when his contract expires in 2018, citing his on-going tax issues in Spain as a major reason. Messi's camp have swiftly moved to squash the rumour saying everything is going as planned with regards to contract extension but negotiations are still at an early stage and is expected to carry on until 2017. Currently President Josep Bartomeu is working on new deals for key squad members such as Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic and Marc Andre Ter Stegan. Messi's father, Jorge and his Lawyers are expected to fly into Barcelona over Christmas and New Year to conduct negotiations.
