JUDGE SAYS NEYMAR'S FRAUD TRIAL SHOULD GO AHEAD

Well the never ending case of irregularities in Neymar jr's transfer from Santos to Barcelona has reared its ugly head once again. Months ago the case was seemingly dismissed but today (Monday) a Spanish  judge has said the Barcelona and Brazil forward should face trial for fraud. The investment fund DIS was entitled to 40% of Neymar's transfer from Santos but instead claims to have received a smaller amount than it should have because some part of the transfer was supposedly hidden. So Neymar jr, his father, Barcelona former president (Sandro Rossell), present president (Josep Maria Bartomeu), Barcelona as a club are to stand trial. Barcelona had already been told to pay a sum to the tune of 5.5m Euros because of tax fraud in Neymar's transfer.
Neymar who recently penned a new 5 year contract with Barcelon in October has enjoyed a fruitful career till date with the Catalan giants, winning 2 La Liga titles, 1 Champions League trophy, 2 Copa Del Rey, the Club World Cup and both the Spanish and European Super Cups.
